Microchipping

10,000 pets will be lost this year. Thanks to Home Again microchips, 70% of those will be reunited with their families. Microchipping is a quick, painless in-office implantation of a chip the size of a grain of rice. Each chip is assigned it's own unique 12 digit alphanumeric code, and that chip is specific to your pet. Once implanted under your pet's skin, the chip will stay there for the rest of his or her life. Should your pet ever get lost, every veterinary hospital and shelter is equipped with a scanner to check for and read microchip codes, and all staff members are trained on exactly where to search. This way, if your pet loses all other identification when gone they can still make it home to you!
